With green living becoming more than just a matter of principle but rather, a lifestyle, people are trying to find ways to take their ideology on the road. One way they are doing this, is by lodging in eco friendly hotels.
Because of the new demand for more environmentally friendly travel accommodations, businesses are taking heed. In fact, most have always tried to maintain a careful balance of technological innovation and a healthy respect for nature.
For instance, a handful of mainstream hotels use biodegradable materials such as organic detergents, for cleaning. Others put salt in their pools as opposed to chlorine or invest in fluorescent light bulbs. Still others donate some portion of their profits towards ongoing conservation efforts.
Going a Step Further Although these measures are fantastic, eco friendly hotel builders could do even more by keeping green designs in mind when constructing their hotels. They may find that, in the end, the process is economically feasible and more inviting than they would have initially thought.
Some commercial architectural trends that lend to the green scene include: - The use of solar panels - many of the more noteworthy green hotels have already begun to use solar and lunar panels to lower energy costs and output. This power may even heat their water supply providing an added level of eco consciousness. - Creative use of local vegetation — green foliage can be used to shade the surroundings and add a natural cooling agent to the hotel. A few hotels have taken this to new extremes allowing ivy and other creeping vegetation to climb the walls of their abodes. This also invites animals, like birds, to the area, adding a unique element to the design. - Geodesic domes - green hotels with ceilings in the shape of geodesic domes can provide a greater distribution of warmth of cooling, especially when they are made with eco friendly materials like drift or harvested wood or organically
Indeed, Canadian conservationists can travel with ease knowing that there are a number of places where they can visit where they can continue to observe environmentally sound practices.
Look into Your Options Before you take your trip, be sure to do your homework and look into the various green hotels that are located in the area you plan to visit. With a little effort, you should not only find eco friendly hotels but those that are budget friendly as well.

With a population of just over 7000 Formentera is the perfect island for anyone looking for a break with peace and tranquility. It is quite simply heaven right here on earth.
Formentera is a very small island, dwarfed by its close neighbor Ibiza, it is quiet and un-spoilt by tourism, though growing in popularity each year. It couldn’t be further away in atmosphere than Ibiza. You could easily imagine you were in the Caribbean.
Formentera island is a relatively flat island with windy dusty lanes, lined with fincas, and many breeds of trees including Sabina, fig, palm, and pine trees. One of it’s finest features are it’s beaches that stretch for miles - some have sea on both sides!
Formentera is well known for its fresh seafood with grilled fish and local fish stews being perennial favorites. Although don’t be fooled a lot of sea food is actually imported from Scotland! The sea food restaurants on the beach can be very expensive.
I can’t recommend this island highly enough to you. If you ever find yourself on Ibiza please make the effort to go. Go for it’s beaches it’s scenery it’s tranquility. I’d go between May and Oct and I’d stay clear of August - that’s when it gets too crowded.
and finally I’m not biased but one of the best ways to see the island is by private boat. There are many different kinds available for Charter in Ibiza and all at reasonable prices. Just ask your local friendly search engine.

Private jets are convenient and a great way to travel. They aren’t as expensive as many people think. Also you don’t have to spend all of your time traveling just sitting in the airports waiting and going through security.
When taking a private jet you don’t only have to cut out all the security hassle, you can also be stress free when it comes to your kids. You get right on and off the plane so you don’t have to worry about them running around everywhere in an airport.
It is also great for a business to charter a private jet. You save time which in turn saves money. It is also much more convenient because you are doing traveling around your schedule not everyone’s.
If you don’t know how to go about private jets or flights you can look online or through a local travel agent. It is much easier to plan than you would think too. Sometimes you can get the whole plane (this is good for a business) and then you just need to look for runway time and pilots. You can also share with another group or family and that way you would be able to split the cost.
No matter the event, whether it is business or pleasure, chartering a private jet is much more convenient. You dont have to go through all of that security, taking off your shoes and going through several check points. You also dont have to arrive hours and hours early. You can just show up, relaxed and not stressed and then hop on the plane and go straight to your destination. It is easy and definitely worth it. I suggest you check out with your local travel agent or even search online for your next trip.
